About Us

Your Madrasah has a unique Islamic curriculum based on authentic knowledge, which has been approved by scholars in the city of the Prophet (peace be upon him), Madeenah. Although our school is in line with the western academic calendar and starts in September, your child can enrol at anytime. We have a complete and comprehensive curriculum available at your fingertips. The curriculum teaches children in steps that are suited to their age and understanding. Once your child completes the curriculum, they will have a comprehensive understanding of all the branches of Islamic knowledge and be a well rounded Muslim, with a firm understanding of their religion. Your Madrasah students will be awarded with certificates upon completion of a level.

Your Madrasah took us 6 years to develop with hundreds of hours spent researching, preparing, teaching and creating high quality videos. We home-schooled our child throughout all the years we spent in Madeenah and our child has gone through the programme with success alhamdulilah. Even though Your Madrasah is aimed at children and the material is customized for children, there is plenty for adults to learn. All the material is based on classical scholarly Islamic books, simplified for children. We are unique because we teach authentic Islamic knowledge in a structured, fun and engaging way; while satisfying your child’s inquisitive nature by providing them with the opportunity to have their questions answered. We truly believe nothing like Your Madrasah exists.

Classes are delivered using a mixture of professionally created animated lessons and live online lessons taught by Shaykh Kamran so Your Madrasah students can learn using a variety of effective methods. There will also be regular live Q&As so your child can have their questions answered. Using research based learning methods, each lesson is up to 20 minutes long. Lessons take place three days a week for an entire academic year; every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 6pm. However, all lessons are recorded so children can catch up in their own time and learn at their own pace.

Allaah has given children rights over their parents, just as the parents have rights over their children. Abdullah ibn Umar (may Allaah be pleased with them both) reported: The Messenger of Allaah (peace be upon him) said: “Every one of you is a shepherd and is responsible for his flock. The leader of people is a guardian and is responsible for his subjects. A man is the guardian of his family and he is responsible for them. A woman is the guardian of her husband’s home and his children and she is responsible for them. No doubt, every one of you is a shepherd and is responsible for his flock.” [Bukhari] Every parent will be held accountable before Allaah for the way in which they raised their children. At Your Madrasah we will help you to fulfil the rights your children have over you in the best and complete way. We have created a bespoke e-learning platform to enhance your child’s learning. Each student has their own portal containing numerous features such as: the ability to watch, re-watch and pause lessons, track how much of the course they have completed, view their exam results, and ask questions at any time. Students are awarded badges for their progress. Each child has their own unique user profile using a secure password-based login system. Students can customize their profile area by uploading their own profile picture to personalize their portal. Students can also keep track of their Quran progress with our unique Quran tracker. In addition to tracking and having access to the duas they have learnt in the ‘My Duas’ section of their portfolio. This custom made learning platform works on all major devices including laptops, ipads, tablets and mobile phones so your child can learn wherever they are, on whatever device they wish.

By studying at Your Madrasah, your child will be among the seekers of knowledge. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “Whoever Allaah wishes good for, He gives him understanding of the religion” [Muslim] The Prophet (peace be upon him) also said: “Whoever seeks a path to knowledge, Allaah will make easy for him the path to paradise” [Muslim] As lessons are three times a week, this can be a regular good deed for your child. As Allaah’s Messenger (peace be upon him) said: “…the most beloved deed to Allaah is the most regular and constant even if it were little.” [Bukhari]
